Hey whats up, I was wondering if the name "Mena" is a common female Chinese name?

As far as I am concern, it is not very common, but " 娜" is frequently used in female Chinese name. In Chinese Pinyin, "米娜" reads " Mi ( third tone) Na( fourth tone)". To put it together, it reads " Mina", not "Mena". " 米" means " rice" in Chinese. " 娜" means grace and feminity.

You are welcome! Destruckdoz, where do you find these Chinese characters? The name in the second picture is not written in regular simplified Chinese character. I am sorry I can not figure it out right now. If you can offer me a regular simplified Chinese character, I can help you handle it. I am sorry!

Is that 林正成?

I am thinking if there are three or two Chinese characters in the pic. If it is three, I agree with Rita. It reads Lin (the second tone) Zheng (fourth tone) Cheng (second tone). That would be a common Chinese male name.

YEAH its 林正成, Thanks Rita. Man since I was a kid in Chinese school I would always get yelled at for spacing the 林 too wide that it looked like real trees. So uh, what does the name 林正成 mean? I hope stubborn isn't in there somewhere.

林 as you know, it means woods, trees, forests ... It's a common Chinese surname. 正 means positive, justice, correct... 成 means successful, alright(like Beijingese people use when they answer positively), become, grown up, mature ... ... There can be a lot more meanings than those given the certain contexts for these 3 separate words.

Thanks for the definitions, Rita. Yeah I do know that 林 means forest or trees. Has something to do with a royal family member who had a baby in the forest during an unsuccessful coup. Haha I should have been more clear, I wrote 林 too wide and they looked like palm trees.
