![]() | I'd like a definition of what an 'intern' is. It is US word which has not been part of British English until recently. Is it always unpaid? If so then I think English would use the term 'work experience'. In the past we used to see US hospital movies/drama where an intern is some newly qualified doctor. Is that the same? |
