How to recruit foreign interns in China?
Mar 11, 2008 04:34
guestVic Could anyone help me pls?

I'd like to know what procedure (rule and documents if any) a China-based company has to go through in order to recruit Unpaid interns from abroad?

I know a foreigner needs an invitation letter from the company to apply for business visa to conduct internship in China. What I do not know is the requirement for the recruiter.

Vic

Thanks!

I'd like a definition of what an 'intern' is. It is US word which has not been part of British English until recently. Is it always unpaid? If so then I think English would use the term 'work experience'.

In the past we used to see US hospital movies/drama where an intern is some newly qualified doctor. Is that the same?
