TOMMITCHELL Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2008 Status: offline	Hello, I'll be traveling to Beijing and Shanghai with my University in May and early June and want to know where the musical hot spots are in the city. I play violin, so would love to tour a violin shop and potentially purchase an instrument (not TOO expensive) and am interested in practically any type of music and would love to experience some Chinese culture beyond what my school group is capable of. Any recommendations? I'll be in Beijing for the majority of the trip (except a few days in Shanghai) and will have nights and parts of the weekend off.
