![]() | Throughout history, millions of wars happened. War is thought of the meas to resolve the problems that diplomacy can not solve. Dictators employ war to capture the territories and women they desired for. Power-thirsty monarchs launched wars to concentrate power. Nevertheless, it was innocent civillians that usually pay for the wars. Kids, senile elders and women are often the victims of wars. Some groups of people said that wars are the wheels that drive history forward. So the weak should pay for the cost of wars. What do you think of it? ![]() |

![]() | Unfortunately in war, the victors write the history while the victims write the songs. |

![]() | I agree with Dr. Gary Quack. Should we trust history since it's written by the victor, or read both the lyrics of the songs and history for us to be close to the truth. |

![]() | History was written by the victors. The losers were buried in the history. In most cases, the losers were portrayed as "notorious devils". We as bystanders want to have an objective view of history. In order to be objective enough, we need archaeologists to dig the losers out. |

![]() | "Am I free yet? " What a sad scene! I am unwilling to hear the words are uttered from the lip of a helpless kid. This is tragic for the whole human community we are living in. I am wondering how the invader reacts if the kid in the picture is his own. |

![]() | Leonardo... if that were the case then there would be a great reduction in war(s). Sadly, a portion of our leaders of the world are cold and calloused towards human suffering and death. |

![]() | Being a leader means being ready to make difficult decisions for a common goal, and to take the flak if necessary. I don’t know any leader who is a softie that would crumble at the mere sight of bits and pieces of bloodied flesh. |

![]() | The point I should have made was: our (U.S.) leaders from the House of Representatives, Senate and higher that vote for war action have few of their children that serve in these military actions. This was especially true in the Viet Nam conflict. WW2 was a completely different scenario where this was not the case and the conflict was for a more noble cause. |

![]() | I feel very sick watching the pic. A lovely kid falls victim to a ruthless war. A tragedy of human civilization! |
