hi,
im flying from NYC to Guilin over Hong Kong.
is it enough to have a china visa (L) or do i need also a Hong Kong visa? im not staying in Hong Kong. i just have to wait 2 hours for my flight to Guilin.

You will not need a visa for HK whether you stay there or not.
