![]() | BARONTWA..., True that the taste and style may not be the same in oversea Chinese restaurants. But the menu names in Chinese are pretty much the same. The Chinese restaurants overseas predominantly serve Cantonese cuisine, but Sichuan dishes are also popular. I don't know where you are from. But believe me my advice works. If you really want to have some authentic Chinese food, go to the closest China town. |

![]() | Chinatrav. I am British, and for years I worked in London's China Town. I have now lived in China (Beijing, and Guangzhou) for 3 years, and trust me, the restaurants have very little in common. However, you originally referred to the local "Chinese take away", which has absolutely nothing in common with Chinese restaurants other than in name. This was what made me laugh, and hence my original reply. |
