transport from Sanya to Guilin

guest88174 After a short break at Sanya I intend to see Guilin and then go to Chengdu

in order to avoid the late night flight from Sanya i am thinking about another way to get there-

What about: Bus to Haikou then catch a train or combination Bus Train to Guilin
and how long can that take.

No need.
Overnight train Sanya -- Guangzhou then overnight train Guangzhou -- Guilin. Or go instead to Yangshuo (http://www.yangers.com), direct buses Guangzhou -- Yangshuo, no need to detour via Guilin.

thanks for our info
i am already back home and took the flight
was not very pleasent to arrive at the hotel at midnight

but I could save a full day of holyday by spending about 300 rmb more.

maybe i come back next year
