![]() | AFP reported that Parkinstan conducted a successful test flight of a pilotless plane. Pakistani military said in a statement: “flight data from the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) named “Uqaab” indicate the test flight had been successful. Pakistan army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, who witnessed the test, congratulated the scientists and engineers on their "outstanding success." "This would go a long way in strengthening Pakistan's defence," the statement quoted him as saying. India-Pakistan’s dispute on Kashmir might be another motive for Pakistan to conduct the test flight. |
