| guestjunior | Were you footloose when you were young? I met a guy who is much older than me. He said to me :" When I was in my twenties, footloose and fancy-free, I would travel anywhere." My question is: were you footloose and had wanderlust when you were young. I found that young people don't expect the sense of belonging. At youth, most people have kind of wanderlust. What about you? |

 | This definitely applied to me in my youth. It still applies to me now that I am in my second youth. Why would anyone want to live in the same place, or do the same job, or have exactly the same friends (carefully allows for one's nearest and dearest in there!) for more than a few years? |

| Yup! I was full of wanderlust. With retirement just ahead I'll get to satisfy a bit more of it. |

| Life is an adventure. Youngsters are adventurous. When you were young, you have the energy to explore. Once you missed it, it is hard for you to make it up when you are senile. |

| ''Once you missed it, it is hard for you to make it up when you are senile.'' human is helpless coz we have no choice but to eventually lose energy. keep wanderlust/young heart is the way of noway to conquer fear of senile that is motivation to live/adventure for everybody. |

| I envy those that are able to travel without worry. Growing up my parents thought responsibility was more important than being cultured. |
