Generally, you can't get out of the airport if you don't have a transit visa. But people from some countries can go out in 24 hours if they have the stay permit.

GUEST60174	I am a Malaysian coming in on Malaysian airlines to terminal 2. I want to take China Eastern Airlines to Korea from Terminal 1. Do I need a visa to transfer to terminal 1? How many hours do I need to transfer to terminal 1 from terminal 2? Thank you.

If your plane leaves in 24 hours, you won't need a transit visa. Keep your air ticket and it can prove you won't over-stay in the airport.

From T2 to T1, you can walk or just take the free bus. It just takes about 5 minutes by bus. The bus leaves every 10 minutes. You can find the bus at the Exit 23 of the international and Exit 27 of the domestic departure levels.

As I know, Southern Airlines is located at the T2 terminal. If you are not sure about it, confirm it with the airport or Southern Airlines.
