(this is in Shanghai; if you travel from Shanghai to Nanjing, and if you would like to stay overnight in Shanghai before departing for Nanjing, this hostel is a bargain!)

There is a small hotel where my friend stayed last time. And I got a 20% discount card. Price is about 100RMB or so.

The address is: 57 ChengXian Street(成贤街57号), Nanjing Connery Hotel(康拉丽成贤街宾馆)。It's close to ZhuJiang Rd, which is a famous road for selling comupter and electronic products.

Their rooms are simple and clean. Maybe you can bargain a little bit.

How cheap are you looking for and what quality???

We stayed in a very nice hotel on the north of the lake not far from Zhongshan park on Purple mountain for Y180 for a twin with good facilities. Called 'Ren Kou' Binguan. Not far from town and opposite the exhibition centre and just a few minutes from the new train station
