I'm able to talk a little bit of Chinese (300 characters and so) because I bought myself some books (want to study/live in China from next year), but i'm sure that it is not going to be enough. So if someone can help learn some imporant things like checking in a hotel, buying a train ticket or asking the way if I get lost (I'm sue that will happen allot) that would be great... LEMONCACTUS Points: Join Date: Dec 8, 2005 Status: Offline	It's great that you're learning Chinese, I hope you have a good trip. Why not invest in a Mandarin phrasebook too ? They have loads of useful specialised vocabulary for the kind of situations you'll be facing.
