Getting to Huaihua from Longsheng

DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: offline	In May I need to get to Fenghuang from my trip to Longsheng. Looking at the trains I need to get to Huaihua and bus from there onwards. Do I travel from Longsheng back to Guilin to get the train or can I get from Longsheng to another station west of there. I notice that the train travels south from Guilin before making a u turn and going north upto Huaihua.

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	Hi Dave, You can take the bus west to Sanjiang. The train runs north from here to Huaihua. Check the Guilin to Chengdu K651/4 and look for this station Sanjiang xian There's a lot to see around to Sanjiang if you have the time. Read my review 'The Fabric of Rural Life' before you go
