Guangzhou to Foshan Subway

Hi - am just wondering whether the metro subway line has opened from guangzhou to foshan? Some of my friends have told me that it is opened but remember checking online and it says the line is still under construction and not ready till 2010.

I haven't heard anything... 2010 sounds more like it.

The subway from guangzhou to Foshan is still under construction and so far it is finished 25%. The Part Connecting with the terminal station Xi lang (Line 1 of Guangzhou subway) will open in 2010 upon the 16th Asian Games. Till the year 2012, the whole subway between Guangzhou and Foshan will open completely.
