All his fans and Chinese people thought that it must be a big joke that media played when the news of his death was released. Cheung was one of the most popular Hong Kong star, who has combined a successful film and music career. Why did he commit suicide is still a mystery? Some gossiped that Leslie Cheung committed suicide because he is a gay himself and meanwhile he is a public figure who has to bear heavy pressure from news media. （Homosexuals are not recognized by the public in the whole Asian community.）A weired phenomenon is that famous people choose to kill themselves. In others’ eyes, they are great talents and rich, and should live happier than others. On the contrary, many celebs committed suicides. What is wrong with human beings? Leslie Chung is a great actor. He made a great contribution to the popularity of Hong Kong pop TV series and movies. It is a pity that he died at the prime of his life and career. The Chinese saying is so correct: beauty usually passes away early. I am not sure if the gossip about his sexual orientation is true. He seemed to live an empty life before his death. Perhap, he can not find anything to make himself move on. The spiritual emptiness drove him into death.

The happiest people on earth are not the rich, the beautiful or the famous. In fact, most of the time, they are the most miserable. They are all glitters on the outside but they are crying on the inside and yet nobody hears because we assume they do not have any reason to cry. In reality, celebrities do not have control of their own lives. They are controlled by the handlers, producers, paparazzi and the fans.

The happiest people are those who know why they like being alive, what makes life worth living, then chase it and live it. When one doesn’t see the point of being alive, it is natural to want to die.
