Hi all

anyone know how much from chengdu to Chongqing and how long it takes and how much for accomadation in Chongqing ?

Chengdu to Chongqing I'll suggest you to travel by train, which will take you about 11 hours, just an overnight trip. The hard seat price is RMB76, and the hard sleeper is RMB143, soft sleeper is RMB215.

Hey Andrew,

don? take the train!

They have a highway connection between Chongqing and Chengdu. I took an express bus for 102 RMB and reached Chengdu in 4 hours. The same on the way back.
You can save some money by taking minibus but this is a trade-off between money and time. This alternative costs only 59 RMB but takes more than 6 hours.
