ANTHEA Points: Join Date: Sep 1, 2004 Status: Offline	Bus tours are not suggested since the road conditions are not so good. Budget itinerary can be like this: take train from Chengdu to Kunming, some sightseeing there, then bus or train to Lijiang.

This would be good news! If anyone knows the schedule that would be great (that is, what days of the week?)! Thanks, Greg

ANTHEA Points: Join Date: Sep 1, 2004 Status: Offline	Yes there are direct flight of Chengdu/ Lijiang, CA4451 runs every Wednesday and Saturday.Airfare is RMB880. This schedule is valid till the end of March.

LENOVO Points: Join Date: Feb 4, 2005 Status: Offline	There is no flight from Lijiang to Lhasa, but you may take flight from Diqing which is not far away on the northwest of Lijiang. Diqing is close to Tibet and known as Shangri-la which has recently become a hotspot for travellers.
