Travel Guilin to Dali

Does anyone know if there is a direct train going from Guilin to Dali (all i can find is Guilin to Kunming)

Trains from Dali only go as far as Kunming. So there won't be any Guilin -- Dali trains because there're no Dali -- Guilin trains. You'll have to go via Kunming.

Get train to Kunmimg and head for the bus station, there are plenty of buses all day to Dali.
The ones I have experienced are more like the coaches we have in the west, big and clean.
