 | An odd thing happened in a kindergarten in Mei kou city: a 5-year-old girl wrote a love letter to a little boy. She ordered the boy to buy a BMW car for her after they become adult. Once the news was revealed, a debate was triggered among general public. A group of people are concerned with the matter. They claimed that today’s kids have been influenced by the adults’ “utility” idea. Kids are having more material desire. What’s you opinion? |

| Kids learn from their parents. The younger the kid, the higher the chance of them repeating exactly what their parents words. Kids don't really know much about material desire, in fact they will enjoy themselves even if they are staying in slums. I think the current generation are very much influenced by their own parents. I had an ex-business partner who has a mother who taught and encourage him to gather as much wealth as possible using his wits and tricks. He turned out to be a conman and now suffering from the consequence. Can't really blame his mum, she's from the generation that experienced times of political and cultural turmoil. |

| Yup.....too many trickle down ideas about "gaining wealth" from the parents + more exposure to ads and tv commercials promoting consumption=a decrease in moral values and possibly self destruction. As a Westener, making a statement like this is being 'hypocritical" I know, but the facts are there. |
