For those top tennis players, it seems that 2008 is not auspicious. So far, the two dominants in Men's tennis Federer and Nadal haven't got any champions. Federer seems unluckier. He has bounced out too earlier in Australia, Indian Wells and Miami. Another promising male player Djokovic hasn't prepared to join Federer and Nadal to form a dominant triumvirate. Although he has won Australian Open, he was kicked out by Kevin Anderson in Miami.

The WTA is similar. World No.1 Henin hasn't won any champion so far. On contrary, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Ana Inanovic and Jankovic have made great progress. As the champion of Australian Open 2008, Sharapova has just lost one match this year. Serena also has just one loss to Jelena Jankovic at the Australian Open.

It seems that Federer, Nadal and Hemin has suffered from Champions' fatigue. As a fan of Federer, I really hope he can recover soon. But who knows? The situation is changeable. Other players will surpass him oneday.

For Men's tennis, Nadal and Djokovic haven't been capable of disthroning Federer though they have achieved much progress. Sometimes, they surprise us. However, their performances are not stable. For Women, I must say that the competition is fiercer. Sharapova has been performing very well since she won the title of Australian Open. So far, she has just lost one game. On other hand, Ana Inanovic and Jankovic have made great progress. Henin's reign has been challenged by them.

As you said, some of them will disthrone Federer and Henin. No one will be the winner forever.
