Fish in sour soup!

酸汤鱼 (Suan 1 Tang 1 Yu 2) is a famous dish in Guizhou. Miao people really like sour food and fish in sour soup is their specialty. You needn't go to Guizhou to taste it. Just learn to do this dish on your own.

Materials: sour soup (made from fermented sticky rice), tomato, fish (grass carp, silver carp or snake head )

Othe ingredients: travas leaf oil, chili, shallot, ginger and some other kinds of vegetables.

Step 1 Fry chili in the pan until you can smell the special pungency.

Step 2 Add sour soup in, put fish dices in and add travas leaf oil in. Then boil the mixture.

Step 3 Add vegetables in and boil them again.
