Efficient & safe method to transfer money to tour operator in china

SINGULARLAM Points: Join Date: Apr 16, 2008 Status: offline	We are going to China soon and has agreed to pay the total tour package cost to China Oddessy. Is it "safe" to fax your full credit card details in terms of photocopy (Front & back) as well your passposrt detail to the operator ? Alternatively, it is to use PAYPAL, the disadvantage to use PAYPAL is higher tour package cost from the operator (3 to 4% of the total cost). In addition, you are losing your consumer protection if anything gone wrong ie poor services or company gone bust before departure. Please tell me your experience and advice. Thanks
