![]() | A new poll conducted by the Pew Social & Demographic Trends Project shows that having enough free time is more important to Americans than being rich. 2,400 people participated in the telephone poll. Only 13% of the questioned ranked “being wealthy as most important to them, while 67% ranked free time as their top priority, higher than having a successful career, getting married, and having children.” Surprisingly, those who didn't have money ranked money very high. Does the result of the poll represent your attitude towards money and free time? What do you value more? |

![]() | Yawn.....ho-hum.....well, what's on the agenda for today? #1....have got to hide from the wife to avoid some of those honey-do projects. #2.......? Yes, free time is nice but does get boring at times, but that's my own fault or problem. |

![]() | I am with the survey. I value free time because in reality, you cannot buy time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. What’s the point of having all that money if you don’t have time to enjoy what it brings? Besides, life is short. I do a lot of things on my free time. Now, that’s what I call heaven. ^_^ |

![]() | I, too, do lots of things in free time: treat house chores as physical exercises, child education, self-education, surf on forum for learning each other. my husband, although assum less house chores, has more working pressure, take night course for self improvement, surf on military forum...we are NOT rich, but we feel content! |
