HOW MUCH MONEY DO I NEED?

guestBrenda My 22 year old daughter will be traveling to Hong Kong in a few days. She is going through the Fashion Design department of her university.

However, they are hesitant to give us an estimation of how much money she will need. Her travel and accomodations are already paid for. She will only need money for meals, sightseeing, shopping, and free time transportation.

I have researched each of these categories for prices; but I was wondering if anyone had any opinons based on personal experience.

GUESTGUESTAGAIN not for me, ELLYSE, I was spending 100 - 300 RMB per day. Now I have blown all this cash I am broke yet can still wonder around China for nothing by eating in the local restuarants ( very cheap) and sleeping in net bars (more comfy then you might think).

P.S. I think you are on EVERY travel website, no?

I hate those Internet places as they're invariably full of cigarette smoke. Fine if you love it though.
