At this moment, all Chinese have united to conquer the disaster caused by the earthquake. The entertainment stars, ordinary Chinese people, Taiwan compatriots, overseas Chinese and friendly foreign friends and countries have all donated to the disaster areas. I have a strong belief in my mind that China will get through the hardships.

GUESTKEVIN Up to now, the death toll has been up to 32476 and 220000 were injured. It is said that the aftershock registered 6 points on the Richter scale has attacked Jiangyou. 58 million square meters houses collapsed and 1006 people were injured. That means about 120000 people will have to live in the tents at least for 6 months.

What a logistics problem.
In a sense this was a war but it was a war with nature.
I'm sure the use of helicopters has helped the situation but they are limited in numbers and carrying capacity.
All the concrete and debris the rescuers have to deal with is very time consuming but there is no other way.
It would be nice if a "magic wand" could be waved and everything would be restored back to normal with no lives lost.
Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way.
Thank you CCTV9 for keeping the world updated, even though it's a sad story.
