guestDaniel Greetings,

I have a multiple entry L visa that I got from SF embassy in February, it expires in February of ‘09 and duration of each stay is 60 days. I’m living with my girlfriend in shanghai and plan to go to hong kong every couple months to keep visa legit,

Does this sound like a case for visa to be rejected at border?

I hear some multiple entry visa's are being canceled or not accepted at border these days.

I think the visa is only valid for 60 days since your first arrival- which means that you'll have to get a new visa every time you leave the country. I don't think you can just leave and come back, thus "renewing" the visa on every entry. Right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, in which case I'm heading to HK pretty soon!

According to some reports it's become pretty hard to get a visa in HK, especially

If it is multiple entry, you can enter as many times as you like. Each stay is 60 days in your case. Until recently, NO problem and there still shouldn't be. I have not seen any information or read any reports which suggest that exisiting visas will not be honoured.

So Buddhatr... that is not right. It is not a case of 'renewing' it is starting a fresh 60 day period. Not sure why they have this system where you can walk out to HK or Macau and come straight back in again, but I have done it and it is not normally a problem.
