Yangtse river cruise post earthquake

guest94175 I am hoping someone will be able to give me some advise on travelling around China following the recent earthquake. I am intending to make a trip to China in mid-June and my main area of concern centres around a Yangtze river cruise I was considering which would commence in Chongqing and ends in Wuhan. I would really like to know whether I should proceed with the cruise or alter my schedule and travel elsewhere in China. If you suggest I should travel elsewhere do you have any recommendations? I am already booked to visit Beijing, Xian and Shanghai.

There is now reason why you should not be able to enjoy a Yangtze Cruise.

Chongqing is quite safe. We are feeling some of the larger aftershocks but these are very mild in comparison to the initial quake.
