Since Yesterday morning, Beichuan County has been sealed off. It is reported that the landslide has partially blocked the Qinjiang River and formed a lake. Presently, the water level of the lake rises quickly and poses a threat to Beichuan County and Mianyang City. If the dyke was broken, both Beichuan and Mianyang will be flooded.
The news said that a village in the upper reaches has been flooded. Till now, the rescuers have been evacuated from Beichuan and 5000 protective uniforms had been dispatched to ensure the rescuers' safety.

The "time bomb"--- a lake formed by the landslide.

Really horrible! According to the news, two checkpoints have been set up to prevent people get in Beichuan since it is very dangerous there. Is there any way to prevent the lake from being broken? Qingchuan is also in danger. It is said that the streets have collapsed and about 9000 people have evacuated.
