guestdream Some people once told me that people should use their talent. However, I was also told that we should do what we love. If he/she has no talent for what he/she loves, what should he/she do? My friend asks me: "Is it worth time and effort to chase a dream job that he is not good at?" I don't know how to answer his question. If you were I, what would you say to him?

You can do the things that you are good at but will you be happy doing it? There is no point in doing something that makes you miserable but that is just me. I value happiness so I always chase my dreams. ^_^

I attended a seminar on this issue and other related working enviroment issues. the spokesman is vietnamese chinese exiled from vietnam during vietnam-chinese war. now he is a controller (he is a chartered accountant) in a fin acct dept with an international commercial bk. His subordinate is an indian guy who wants to leave current job for attending MBA course. This controller told this indian guy: does it make sense that you leave your current technical position where you have 95 percent talents in order to pursue the career where you just have only 5% talents.

and he also told: when he was a little child asking his father why those workiing in pharm lab with labcoats are most immigrants while the mgt are most british or irish whites. is this discrimination? his father told him. WRONG. for those whites are proficient in getting funding from gov. to support business operating using their eqloquency and knowledge of policy.
