The government has made a preliminary estimate that the total business losses is more than 9.5 billion yuan, but the private property losses is much higher. PertrolChina has estimated that their initial losses are 255 million yuan. Sichuan Changhong, a large TV maker, was even stopped to produce TVs after the earthquake. What's more, ABC (the Agriculture Bank of China's bad loans will rise by at least 850 million yuan. Sally Yim, a Moody's analyst said in a report that the total property losses might be between 10 and 20 million yuan.

To rebuild the houses for the people in the disaster areas, the central government will allocate about 70 billion yuan. In total, we need to spend about 300 billion yuan. What a horrible earthquake!
