 | The missing panda "Qianqian" in the earthquake was found at a jungle near Wolong yesterday. The Panda Protection Center captured the missing panda beause after giving an injection of anaethesia. The panda got lost after the earthquake on May12. It was found by a relief worker who was repairing the road from Wolong to Gengda town. The workers from the reserve center confirm that it was the missing panda. The panda has been transported to the Panda Protection and Research Center! Another missing panda "Xixi" has already found on May 25.  |

By May 20, two pandas at the reserve were found to be injured, while the search continued for another two adult pandas that went missing after the quake.[8] By 28 May 2008, one panda was still missing.[9] The missing panda was later found dead under the rubble of an enclosure.[10] Sadly, nine-year-old Mao Mao, a mother of five at the breeding centre, was discovered on Monday, her body crushed by a wall in her enclosure.
