Heavy rainstorm floods 17counties of Guizhou Province

According to Xinhua News Agency, from May25 to May 27, a heavy rainstorm hit China's Southwest Guizhou Province, a neighboring Province of the quake-hit Sichuan Province. 17 counties and cities were flooded by the storm. 18 people were killed, 12 missed, 166 injured, 4600 were evacuated. The relief work is underway.

Houses in the suburb of Anshun City were flooded on May 27.

Wow, it looks like we might be in for another wet summer.

Anshun is the closest major city to the famous Huangguoshu Falls. They will be an awesome spectacle after all this rain too.

We've had heavy rain here most of the day.

Water leaking through the roof of my classroom in two places sent us scurrying for bins and basins to catch it. We had several inches in no time at all.
