Fried bitter gourd with minced pork!

Materials: 2 bitter gourds (500 grams), minced pork (180 grams), minced garlic (1/2 tablespoon), 1/2 red pepper and a cup of clear chicken soup.

Marinade: 1/2 tablespoon soybean sauce, 1/3 tablespoon chicken powder, 1 egg white, 1/5 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon cooking wine.

Seasonings: 2 tablespoons edible oil, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 tablespoon bean paste and 1/3 tablespoon white sugar.

Step 1 Mix 1/2 tablespoon soybean sauce, 1/3 tablespoon chicken powder, 1 egg white, 1/5 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon cooking wine with minced pork very well and marinade for 15 minutes.

Step 2 Get off the seeds of the bitter gourds and cut them into strips. Dice the red pepper.

Step 3 Add 1 tablespoon salt in the boiling water and quick-boil the bitter gourd strips for 1 minute. Then take them out and cool down in cold water.

Step 4 Pre-heat 2 tablespoons edible oil, fry minced garlic, add minced pork in and fry together. Then add a cup of clear chicken soup and boil the mixture.

Step 5 Add bitter gourd strips in the pan, stir-fry them and then simmer for 10 minutes with a cover.

Step 6 Add 1 tablespoon bean paste, 1/3 tablespoon white sugar and red pepper dices and stir-fry together.

Then it is served.

Do you like bitter gourd? Because that stuff is lethal, I can never eat it when my parents make it for dinner.

Hehe, I don't like bitter gourd. It tastes too bitter. My friend is really fond of it. He told me that it was good for our body. But I still don't want have a try.
