Tangjiashan quake lake water continues rising

The Tangjiashan "quake lake" near Beichuan in Sichuan Province has risen to the top of its dam. The water level of the quake lake was 737.33 meters, which is at risk of bursting and threatening thousands of people near the lake zone. The water volume has reached 205.5 million cubic meters, which is near the bursting point. About 158,000 people will have to move from their homes if Tangjiashan lake causes flooding. The people in the swelling lake zone have been evacuted. The relief workers are stepping up their efforts drain the lake. Soon the water will flow into the sluice.
