What roles do you want to play? Some people are inborn leading actors or leading actresses. Some people prefer shouldering least responsibility and may say: "I want to be a supporting actor or actress." There seems to be a false assumption that supporting actors don't have to perform well. Whether we are a supporting actor or a leading actor, we have to play the role well. A popular life outlook held by the current generation of Chinese young people illustrates their roles in life: Life is a drama: Before we are 30 year old, our role is house-slave. We strived hard for a house. Before 60, Chinese people do everything for the sake of raising children. After 60, we do our best to save our declining health. Want to buy a house, we worked for cunning profiteers. For the sake of Children's education and future, we enslaved ourselves to work for China's public and private schools. To save the declining health, we are enslaved by mercenary hospitals. Money becomes a necessity in order to fulfill all the things in life. In consequence, making money becomes the driving force for the whole country's nationals. An online-poll suggests that at least 60% of Chinese put money on the priority of their life goal. A great majority of them trying to make money at the expense of their health by working overtime, and overdosing alcohol for sociall intercourse. When they accumulated money, the drama of life comes to the ending. Use the money they made during the whole life to salvage the declining health. Life is a like a drama. What roles do you want to play? You are the director and scriptwriter. Whether it is a comedy or tragedy, it is up to you.

Life is good. I don't see myself as a house slave. I'd rather pay for my own house than live out on the streets or start cunning people. I am proud that I am able to accomplish that much so I don't see it as being a slave. So many people couldn't even afford a house. I believe I am blessed. I enjoy life and I don't force myself to do the things I don't want to do. I dance to my own music. I couldn't care less about peer or social pressures. In that regard, I guess I am more of a director. ^_^

LEONARDO Points: Join Date: May 21, 2007 Status: Offline	Life is a drama. I am the director and leading actor of the drama. At present, I am not sure if it has a happy ending or a sad ending since I haven't finished the script. Whatever it is a commedy or tragedy, I will play my role well.
