Braised duck with pawpaw!

Materials: 350 grams pawpaw, 800 grams duck, 5 slices of ginger and 1 shallot.

Seasonings: 1 tablespoon edible oil, 3 tablespoons bean paste, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1/5 tablespoon salt.

Step 1 shell and get rid of the seeds of pawpaw, cut it into dices, slice the ginger and cut the shallot into sections.

Step 2 Chop the duck and quick-boil in boiling water.

Step 3 Pre-heat 1 tablespoon edible oil, quick-fry ginger slices and shallot sections, put duck in and stir-fry them for 2 minutes. Braise them with medium heat unitll it penetrates oil and then put duck in a pot.

Step 4 Add two bowls of water in the pot, put 3 tablespoons bean paste, 1 tablespoon soy sauce in and mix them well. Boil with fierce heat with a cover untill boiling and then braise with gentle heat for 30 minutes.

Step 5 Put pawpaw in, stir the mixture and braise with gentle heat with a cover for 20 minutes.

Step 6 Season with 1/5 tablespoon salt.
