Does each state in the USA have a state motto? I have read a post about the State Motto in the USA. I have some difficulties in understand some states’ mottos because of the cultural background or cultural overtone. Can some natives help me? I will post some mottos here:

Alabama: Yes, We Have Electricity
Alaska: 11,623 Eskimos Can't Be Wrong!
Arizona: But It's A Dry Heat
Arkansas: Literacy Ain't Everything

California: By 30, Our Women Have More Plastic Than Your Honda
Colorado: If You Don't Ski, Don't Bother
Connecticut: Like Massachusetts, Only The Kennedy's Don't Own It Yet

Delaware: We Really Do Like The ChemicalsIn Our Water
Florida: Ask Us About Our Grandkids
Georgia: We Put The "Fun" In Fundamentalist Extremism
Hawaii: Haka Tiki Mou Sha'ami Leeki Toru (Death To Mainland Scum, But Leave Your Money)

Idaho: More Than Just Potatoes... Well Okay, We're Not, But The Potatoes Sure Are Real Good
Illinois: Please Don't Pronouncethe "S"
Indiana: 2 Billion Years TidalWave Free
Iowa: We Do Amazing Things With Corn

Kansas: First Of The RectangleStates
Kentucky: Five Million People; Fifteen Last Names

Louisiana: We're Not ALL Drunk Cajun Wackos, But That's Our Tourism Campaign
Maine: We're Really Cold, But We Have Cheap Lobster
Maryland: If You Can Dream It, We Can Tax It
Massachusetts: Our Taxes Are Lower Than Sweden's (For Most Tax Brackets)

Michigan: First Line Of DefenseFrom The Canadians
Minnesota: 10,000 Lakes... And 10,000,000,000,000 Mosquitoes
Mississippi: Come And Feel Better About Your Own State

Funny stuff.
Of course, these are not the true "mottos" of each state.
To give a specific explanation (which would be a guess) for each state could jeopardize my "health" and "sense of well-being"
Most are self-explanatory.

California: By 30, Our Women Have More Plastic Than Your Honda
Colorado: If You Don't Ski, Don't Bother

Funny stuff.
In California, plastic surgery is popular?
I can't comprehend this one:
Connecticut: Like Massachusetts, Only The Kennedy's Don't Own It Yet.

I think the California motto only applies to Hollywood and San Diego and perhaps sea cliff. The proper motto in my opinion is "Fun in the sun", like the terminator said (Arnold Schwarzenegger)

Are the mottos related to geography? My geology is not good. What does it mean by"The Unabomber"?

O.K. I'm just taking a guess on some of this stuff:
Connecticut--similar in appearance geographically and peoples perspective(?) but the Kennedys are not nearly as powerful in a political and financial sense in this state.
Michigan---only motto referring to it's geography. It borders Canada.
Unabomber---(my own opinion) A high I.Q. intellectual that had social problems, maybe a sense of superiority, that dealt with his enemies thru the use of "mail bombs"

Montana: Land Of The Big Sky, The Unabomber, Right-Wing Crazies, And Very Little Else

YUP! That's us.

Funny stuff....

Eastern Montana is high prairie and gives the impression of being wide open and empty. It's not. It's filled with animals to hand and fish to catch. This is a common barb from Democrat liberals, "The Unabomber, Right-Wing Crazies." ...and there is a lot of sky in Montana because much of it is so flat.

((((The Unabomber)))))
As far as I know it,
The Unabomber it is not from Montana. Or is he?
Or maybe there are some other crazy screws up there I don't know about

This is the only Unabomber I know about

Ted Kaczynski
