guest7652	China has become more and more open. Chinese people can have more opportunities to have access to foreign culture and media. Nevertheless, for the majority of Chinese people, their knowledge of foreigners is from TV and English movies. Or they would think all foreigners are just like the comiques wearing T-shirts and slippery in “English Corners”. Some misconceptions: Many Chinese people thought that all foreigners speak English. All the foreigners are Americans. Foreigners are utterly ignorant of Chinese history. Foreigners are peculiarly squeamish. They frequently change the plates at dinner. Foreigners cherish democracy only if you don’t vote for communists ,socialists , liberalists,environmentalists and the man named Chavez. Every foreigner has a gun. Crime is common in foreign countries. All the white men like Chinese girls. It is not a truth. Some white men don’t like any woman. No foreigner spits in the street. Foreigners have no morality and ethics.

Or...

All foreigners are whites.
Believe the stuff they read about western women.
That foreigners/westerners do not value their families as much as the Chinese does.
Other countries don't have a culture of their own.
That all Americans are in credit and mortgage crisis.
That all Americans agree to their government's policies.

I always say visit other countries and see for yourself. Different people just have different ways of doing things. There is nothing better than first hand experience.
