Will the economic crisis occur in Viet Nam?

JIMMYB Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: offline	Recently, the Vietam has been experiencing a turmoil, the stock market falling (the maxium was 60 percent), the housing prices and its currency dropping too, and the CPI in May increasing about 25.2 precent. Confronted with this situation, the government has adjusted the interest rates, above 14 percent. A rumour even says that the 1997 financial crisis will re-appear again and it will have huge impact on China and other Asian countries. However, a certain amount of people say that the Viet Nam's economy is indeed deteriorating but it is too early to say that the 1997 financial crisis will re-appear and China will be heavily impacted. What do you think of it?
