| China's State Earthquake Forcast Center reported that an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale jolted Zhiduo County, Qinghai Province at 13:23 (Beijing Time) on June 18th. The epicenter lies at 35.3 North Latitude, 91.2 East Longitude, whereHoh Xil nature reserve was located. On the same day, a 4.5-magnitude quake jolted Ningqiang County in the southern part of Shaanxi Province. One person was killed in the aftershock. |
