![]() | We all might have been asked such a difficult question: Suppose your wife and mother drop into the river, who would you save first? A British man named Ian told his painful experience to British Media on June 17 th 1008. Two years ago, (April 12,2006), he took his twin children ( a son and a daughter) to go boating on a river in Welsh. Unfortunately, the boat was capsized. He met a dilemma: who should he save first. His boy Edward clung to a branch above the water. His daughter was out of his sight. She had to decide if he should find out his daughter first or save his son first. After think for a short while, he swam to save his son. His son shouted : “Daddy, please try to find my sister first”. He couldn’t see his daughter after saving his son, and he himself was frozen. When the rescurers found his daughter, she was already drowned dead. Two years passed, Ian is still pondering if he should try to find his daughter first, then save his son. He confessed that he brought his son to the bank of the river. Even though the rescurers didn’t prevent him from jumping into the river to search his daughter, he couldn’t assure that he would jump into the river again to find out his daughter. Were you him, what would do? ![]() |
