![]() | According to China's top economic planner the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC),China will raise the prices of gasoline, diesel oil by 1,000 1,000 yuan (144.9 U.S.dollars) per tonne and the price of aviation kerosene by 1,500 yuan per tonne on Friday (June 20th). The prices of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas remain unchanged. The benchmark retail price of gasoline would be lifted to 6,980 yuan per tonne, up more than 16%; while gasoline to 6,520 yuan per tonne, up more than 18%. At service stations in China, the price rises equal to markups of 0.8 yuan and 0.92 yuan per liter for gasoline and diesel oil respectively. Cars were queuing near a gas station in Beijing on Thursday night. After hearing the price rise of gasoline diesel oil, many drivers refueled their cars on Thursday night.
