Need a Visa for student

I'm going to go to Shanghai to study Chinese langauge. And I need a Visa for student.
What do I have to do? And if I want to find a part-time job , can I?

If you are studying in China for less than 6 months, than you can apply for a F visa.

However, Neccessary documents to prove that you are studying in China are necessary, like, admission notice to the school.

If you are studying for more than 6 months, then you should apply for an X visa before entering China, and then apply for residence permit in 30 days after your entry.

Or you can also enter China with an L or F, and then hand in the JW201/JW202 Form, which can be attained from your school, applying for the Residence permit.

and for the part time job, if it's not contractual, you can just do whatever you want to do.(But it's illegal, lol)
