hi i am currently in china right now and was wondering if i bought a cell phone here in china, would i be able to use it in the US? thanks

Some can ,some can not.
My friend bought a Motorola in China,but can never use in CA,it`s get blocked,We don`t know why.
My be the stupid Motorola make a location register or something.
After he get back to China ,He can use that phone ,no problem.

First problem: GSM or CDMA

Second: Frequency Band: 900-1800-1900 or other

3rd: Operating system. Upgraded phone based on windows or Mac or code locked.

So you need to think every thing.

ok so well i also read to that some of the phones are really not like the real one where as they don't contain all the features the real one might. i was looking about getting the nokia 95 but it seems the ones in china dont contain everything the authentic one does, so it brings me to think whether or not i should get one here if they are all fake and not really authentic , and what phones are really original to buy here in china if there are any?
