Drug abuse is a serious global problem. Every year, tens of thousands of people die of drug abuse. Thousands of families were victimized by drug. The drug-dealers made enormous profits from the drug-trafficking business. Every year, large amounts of drugs pouring into China from the Golden Triangle, which encompasses Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. I can't understand why some people are addicted to drugs. Once when I was in college, an American teacher told me that almost most teenagers took marijuanar in the teen years. Why? Adolescents are prone to drug. What is the role of parents? Keep away from drug, and cherish life.

It is recognized that young people are not capable of making fully thought out decisions. That is why no one younger than 18 can vote and no one younger than 21 can drink alchohol.
The decision to try drugs is a stupid one which leads to problems almost immediately. However, young people do not think about their future and often try risky things. They just don't realize how risky until it's too late.
Parents, teachers, TV commercials and public service announcements all point out the dangers of illegal drug use but still they keep on joining the ranks of drug addicts.
If there was a solution, it would have been used. Of course we could try executing users like Mao did. that would stop things pretty quickly. But: that will never happen.
