Which will you choose, good-looking or knowledgeable?

guestdilemma	If you have to choose only one between beautiful appearance and knowledge, which one would you choose. For yourself, you cann’t have them both. For example, in a lifetime, you can be goodlooking, but you can not be knowledgeable. Or you can be knowledgeable, but your appearance must be homely. You have no choice but to choose one. Which will you choose, being knowledgeable or good-looking? In choosing a future partner, which one would u choose, good-looking blonde or knowledgeable but homely girl? Women, which one do you choose, a handsome guy or a knowledgeable guy? (Suppose a person can not combine beautiful appearance with knowledge.)

DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: Offline	I am not particulary good looking but I have some talents and am quite knowledgable so thats is an obvious answer for me. As for a woman, I would prefer someone who I can talk to, someone who is interesting and has some knowledge. I always remember many years ago my father once told me "never make a beautiful woman your bride, if she is so beautiful then everyone else will want her too"

Davec, my cousin just said the same words last week when she visited my family to see my mum. " Never marry a beautiful woman or a handsome guy, because everyone else will covet her too".

If that is true, are all beautiful women spinsters? LOL! Just kidding.

Someone you can talk to is important. Being able to get along is important. I do not know any relationship that I can call successful if rapport isn’t there. It takes more than just looking at a pretty face.

GUEST26123	Well. i don't like the way you force us to choose one, as if both cannot exist in the same person. There are many people who are both physically attractive and have intelligence / good heart. I love attractive people because I'm a visually oriented person., But to me, a beautiful mind can make up for lack of physical beauty. My answer would be that wisdom is more important than good looks.
