![]() | In the second round of Men's singles of Wimbledon Championships, World No.3 Djokovic was beaten by Safin 4-6/6-7(3)/2-6. Also Sharapova was defeated by another Russian player Alla Kudryavtseva 2-6/4-6, whose ranking was World No.154. Several days ago, we saw those two Top tennis players practicing tennis together. Today, we saw them leaving Wimbledon together. What a pity! Photo: from sina.com. ![]() |

![]() | What's wrong with them? I watched that game between Djokovic and Safin. Djokovic was not in his condition and Safin played excellently. The real "Czar" has come back. However, Sharapova really disappointed me. In that game, she made 22 mistakes and 8 double faults. Her backhand didn't work. It seemed that someone was playing tennis on the court, not Sharapova. It is Sharapova's worst experience at Wimbledon. |

![]() | Yes I saw Sharapova play too and was quite disappointed with her result. It seemed like she took her opponent too lightly to start. Then after the first set and midway through the second set when she tried to get serious, it was too late already. She should have come out strong from the start and never let up. But she will learn these things. One thing I am willing to bet a lot of money on, is that Kudryavtseva will not win Wimbledon! :) So I view these types of upsets as very wasteful. |

![]() | "One thing I am willing to bet a lot of money on, is that Kudryavtseva will not win Wimbledon! :)" Are you sure, Canadaguy? Kudryavtseva has beaten Peng Shuai (another Chinese player) after defeating Sharapova. Quote from adidas slogan "Impossible is nothing". Everyone is possible to win the title. By the way, it seems that Kudryavtseva doesn't like Sharapova (or I should say she envies Sharapova because she is not as beautiful as Sharapova). After the match, she said:"Yes, it's very pleasant to beat Maria,". This was followed by a long pause, after which she explained smilingly that this was because: "I don't like her outfit. Can I put it this way? It was one of my motivations to beat her." She seems to be a little bit over-excited. It is really happy for her to defeat Sharapova but winning a game doen't mean that she can win the title. As a professional tennis player, you should have the basic "common sense". Please show your respect to your rival. Canadaguy, what do you think of her remarks on Sharapova's outfit? |
