Why do so many working people long to retire? Chinese working force are burdening with much pressure when they are working. About the life after retirement, most of the surveyed do not have financial concerns. They plan to rely on their savings and pensions. Nevertheless, China's pension system is not perfect. The Chinese traditional notion of "bringing up children for the sake of being looked after in old age" has been putting aside by the majority of Chinese city dwellers. In rural areas, the traditional notion has a comparatively strong influence. Do you long to retire, when you are working? What is your wish after retirement?

ICEBLUE Points: Join Date: Aug 30, 2007 Status: Offline	"Bringing up children for the sake of being looked after in old age" That's why China has a serious sex ratio imbalance. In countryside, the local farmers prefer boys to girls. Men are the main labour forces in the countryside.
