![]() | (Xinhua News Agency)The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) submitted the long-waited declaration of its nuclear inventory to China, the chair of the six-party talks, Thursday. At the White House, U.S. President George W. Bush delivered a statement on North Korea that it would lift trade sanctions against the North Korea and remove it from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. After several rounds of painstaking negotiations, this breakthrough was made. More efforts are needed to final the progress. The DPRK has expressed their sincerity through submitting some 18,000 pages of its Yongbyon nuclear logs to the USA. The U.S. also compromises its demand.
