guest2711 The new regulations on Teacher's ethics have been published on the official site of Ministry of Education, asking for advice. According to the news, more new regulations have been added, for example, eusuring the students' safety. Speaking about this regulation, many people have their own views.

A huge quantity of netizens think that it has something to do with "Fan Meizhong incident". When the Wenchuan earthquake happened, Fan left his students in the classroom and ran out immdiately. After the earthquake, he has become the target of the public. Too many netizens condemn him for leaving his students in the classroom. In order to avoid such incident, the ministry of education adds "ensure the students' safety" into the regulations on Teacher's ethics. Although it can't take effect as the law, it might be used to as the criterion when recruiting teachers. However, some teachers don't agree with this. If we ensure our students' safety, who can ensure our safety?

Do you think it is necessary to include "ensure the students' safety" in the regulations on Teachers' ethics?

The new rule has drawn much attention from the teachers. Many teachers disagree with the rule. In their views, it is just a ethic level thing. As a qualified teacher, they surely will try their best to ensure their students' safety. Those who sacrificed their lives to save their students in the earthquake are the good examples. It is unnecessary to make ethics legalized.
